Bottle background
Annual release from Seattle-based Westland distillery. This edition matures peated spirit in virgin Quercus garryana oak (36%) and the remainder in first-fill ex-bourbon American white oak.
A robust, smoke-forward American single malt with native Pacific Northwest oak providing a distinctive mineral and woody backbone. The peated spirit cuts through generous oak and spice, delivering a bold, warming dram with impressive complexity.
